Trail Trash Adventures will be hosting a Trail Work weekend bash in conjunction with local La Veta Trails Community (more info www.lavetatrails.org).

We will be working on some of the trails that are impacted by things like over growth, blow downs from previous years, and heavy rain damage.

Trail work in itself is a lot of fun and we are going to make a weekend out of it! We are planning on getting a few campsites locally at Lathrop State Park Friday 5/30 - Sunday 6/1. We will be hosting a little campfire stories Friday night with some smores and fun. If you plan to camp with us, we are going to be booking some sites that are for tent camping, and we ask that you help to cover some of the cost. It will be $10 per night to camp, per tent you plan to use.

Saturday we will be trying our best to carpool to the trailhead for our trail work location, and then working to help those that normally maintain those areas for the day.

Sunday for those that are able to join we will be doing a group run in the area that will be between 4 - 8 miles depending on the interest level and training level of those that would like to join us.

You can also feel free to stay somewhere on your own or drive down that morning and meet us at the carpool point. There are lots of local Bed & Breakfasts. And we recommend the following hotels as they are partners in the Wild Wahatoya Races in September:
